Won't let me view the pics... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
I don't "have permission".
Post it in the thread, or go to http://www.ls1camaro.net/upload.php and they will host it for free.
Thanks
Dave

Re: My own CUSTOM 35th Aniv grille
Thanks Steve. I don't have anywhere to host pics right now. The server for our car club site went down. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
Oh well, if one of you SLP guys can post a pic for me, that would be awesome. If not, oh well.

Very Nice ! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Whats in the holes? Did you leave the styrofoam insert back there? Maybe think about removing it and adding some nice black mesh at the back of them! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />
$100 for the next mod! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
I'm just like you, usually can't justify a reason to spend so much money on same things, even when I've got it. The only reason it costs so much is because ppl will pay it.

My own CUSTOM 35th Aniv grille
Hi guys,
Well, I've gone and done it. Some of you may like it, some of you may hate it. But I wanted to do it, and I think it came out pretty good the first time around.
What I wanted to do was mold together the looks of SLP's 35th anniversary grille, with a black billet grille & 67 SS badge combo.
Also the fat $$ it would cost me to purchase the 35th grille from SLP, I can't really justify spending on a grille. So, I decided to do the following.
I purchased the Black Billet griille from After_Thoughts for $130
Also purchased a 67 SS badge from NPD for $19
And went down to the local speed shop and had them create the silver stipes for me to match the 35th's for $15
First off I wanted to just put the silver stipes to match on the top side of the grille's horizontal's, but then T-dog (who helped me with this) suggested also applying the stripes down the backside of the grille, on the actual car. I was just going to paint behind the grille black, but decided to go with the idea cuz I thought it would add to the look, and save me from having to tape the car off and painting.
All in all, it came out pretty darn good. Theres a some small air bubbles here and there, so I might go back and replace the stripes on a few of the top side runners of the grille, but I like it alot. It's different, and I don't think anyone else has done somthing like this.
Anyhow, I wanted to share, and get a bit of feedback from you guys.
Total cost of the mod: $164. A whole 100 dollars less then SLP's grille. That fits my pocket book a bit better for now... and I can justify spending that much on a grille that I think looks pretty cool.
Pics are easier to post up at SLP's site,so for those of you who can view them there, here's alink:

Thanks for posting the pics for me! I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the comments guys.
I'm glad you like it.
Now to save some dough to do the other custom mods on my list. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
