Re: headlight assembly can it be polished????? just a cheap carbon steel I think but may be alum. Anything (metal) can be polished, but the results will vary depending upon the metal.

Re: headlight assembly can it be polished????? It's black and you're gonna polish it? Is it PAINTED then or what? I haven't seen any black metal polished before though. Be pretty sweet if you can pull it off. yeah, definately post pics.

Re: headlight assembly can it be polished????? Yeah i have polished several painted things. The hardest thing to polish was the check valves. Damn GM used superglue paint on those. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> But they came out pretty damn good.
