Default Need top color interior plastics

Hey guys. I need to redo my interior. I painted it last year but the paint is scratching off in the high traffic areas, door handle, rocker trim, door panel, center console etc. I washed, prepped and did everything well and it still comes off! Even used a plastic promoter for painting.

So what am I doing wrong guys? How can I get the color to stay? There is a way guess GM can do it.

GM molds the pieces in the color they want so this exact issue, isn't an... issue.

Only way its gonna last is either go through the full painting process, primer, base coat & clear coat. Just like you would the exterior of the car. Or get the pieces hydro-dipped in the color of your choice.

I saw another post about wrapping. I think I saw you in there? ANyway, I think it would be cool to wrap the car in leather or fake leather. I looked it up and its cheap to do.

Not really. If you buy cheapo material & glue it'll look like dog **** quick. You have to buy quality UV rated leather & quality glue. It takes time, patience & good material. Otherwise its a waste of time.

Just a word of advice, anything thats gonna be a well done worth while interior upgrade will not be easy. You'll find through trial & error most the easy fast upgrades will most likely turn into a eye sore later. I have fell victim to a couple cheapo fast interior mods that looked alright at first but after a while realized it make the interior look even cheaper than stock, LOL.

Yea, I did my dash black a couple years ago and it has held up well. Not a high traffic area though
