Default Not Another Splitter Post...Who used spacers on the Camaro splitter?

As you can see in the pictures of my Camaro...

...the splitter isnt completely flat and has a gradual slope upwards in the middle/point of the front bumper. Just looking to take it one step further and run spacers like the Trans Ams but not all the way around, just in the middle, just enough to level the splitter out. I think it will look meaner too having the spacers in the center.

Wasnt sure if anyone beat me to this or not, if so, post pics, and if you can, lengths of the spacers you used to achieve this...

The spacers we use for Trans-Ams are just steel and nylon spacers you get from any hardware store if you want to just pick some up and play around with them...

I'd run some half inch ones on your center three bolts. Yours seems to pull up more than most...

I plan on putting a splitter on my 95 in the future and definitely want to bring it to where it is level with the ground as you mentioned. The LS1 front ends aren't as bad as LT1's, where the bottom comes up at like a 20 degree angle... Drives me crazy. Anyway, I was thinking about bolting it in the back, then using 2 or 3 adjustable rods in the front to hold it where I want, sort of like the race cars use. Then again, I have never seen one of the 6LE splitters in person so I do not even know if this is feasible, just an idea I had floating around in my head.

I picked up some half inch spacers today when I was at the hardware store trying to find a 02 sensor delete bolt for my Y-pipe. Picked up two different diameters (didnt remember to bring a bolt so had to play the guessing game)

Figured Id run 3 half inch ones in the center. Shouldnt be too noticable being only a half inch long but hopefully enough to "level" the splitter out. Gonna dust them along with the rest of the hardware with some Duplicolor black and reinstall the splitter and go from there...

Maybe a week to 2 weeks. Mark was pretty quick on the order. I know these are made to order plus I had the edge beveled as well.

I started playing around with it tonight. Looks like it will work and IMO looks alot better with the small spacers. Think the T/A ones would be overkill though. I think to get it perfectly level I will need at least 2 more on each side in addition to the center three and maybe a washer inbetween on the remaining bolts minus the far rear ones which should be bolted straight to the bumper. Not sure if that makes sense or not, Ill grab some pics ASAP since it was too dark out to get any decent pics.

Here is a test fit before the rain stopped me. Looks good and seems level. The OCD in me will get a level on it to make sure. lol I want to snug all the bolts down and check and then I will disassemble and paint all the hardware black and post finished results/pics.

Zee-I think I asked in my build thread but didnt get a response, did you put spacers anywhere else but the middle three? Mine looks like I would need them gradually tapered down until the end bolts by the front of the tires which would be flush.

I only put the 3 spacers in front and the rest flush with the body. I didn't use the washers between the spacer and splitter ether just screw, washer, splitter, spacer, body, washer and the nut and lock washer behind the body if that makes since lol I don't like the washers showing on the splitter
