I have the adapter kit and bird logo on mine from the ws6store. It really is nice and you will get use to it after awhile. I also chopped it down about an inch and it looks really good with my 6 spd console But overall use you just push down and shift it back ... smooth and looks alot nicer than the thumb push **** ...

Don't mean to hijacking, but is there any way to run the b&m pistol grip stick shifted in an a4?

Check with the WS6Store. I can't remember everything they had, but from what I remember they had several choices to choose from.

if you buy the adapter from ws6 store it says u must buy a shift **** with a tail, has anyone put a shift **** without a tail on instead? whats the difference you just see the adapter?

also referring to that link posted, when you cut the shift down what do you do about the little plastic piece in the middle? does it just compress down even more?

It works fine with a bunch of other ***** also, like the hurst classic, Hurst t-handel, and all the other MBA ***** we sell.. 2 ***** we know it will NOT work with is the Hurst Leather wrapped H ****, and the SLP Leather wrapped ****.. hope this helps! afterthoughtsauto.com has the adapter and matching ball.. you can get the whole thing for around 50 or so... They are a sponsor on here and I deal with them face to face. They are an awesome outfit....

Of course, WS6Store has a cool one too...
