Default Question about powdercoated wheels....

I have some C5 wheels that I want to powdercoat black, then machine the lip like a GS rim, how can I do this? I don't really want the whole rim black, but..... Thanks, Shawn

If your C5 rims are chrome (aren't all C5 rims), then you can't powder coat them. I wanted to do the same thing, but all the powder coating guys that I talked to said that I couldn't do it to my chrome wheels. Painted rims are fine to powder coat, which is what I'm going to do.

Westwood sells a powder coat kit..the problem is you need a oven to finish the process. Unless you know someone who has one big enough for your wheel your good, if not you are sucking .. <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" /> calibers and small parts can be done in any oven.. no problem.. good luck
