Project: Modified Glasstek camaro dash
Started with a Glasstek fiberglass camaro dash and will be modifying for custom gauges and switches. Overall goal is to look stock and somewhat show quality. Main dash will be painted gloss black and secured w/ dzus fasteners. Upper dash pad will be unmodified and probably wrapped with 3M carbon vinyl (cant have anything gloss which would reflect off the windshield and prevent me from seeing the road). Wont be able to fiberglass for another month due to the outside temp, just wanted to throw out the preliminary ideas.
Out of the box:
Preliminary cuts:
SpeedHut gauge mock-up:
Switches - (top) park, headlight, high beam, (bottom) vert top, L turn, R turn
6LE a/c 2 gauge mount -looking to trade up to the 3 gauge version - mounting trans temp and AEM UEGO wideband gauges
a/c vent will be deleted and area will be smooth to match rest of dash, airbag and glove box area will be left stock
