has anyone ever painted one of these flat black? if so does anyone have pics? and what are yalls opinions of this idea?

I can't say if I've ever seen it done like that. I would imagine it not looking so good since they look great when painted glossy colors to either match the color of the car or black with body color accents. Maybe someone has done it andcwill chime in and may change my thought about it but to me, it would kinda look like the factory grille since it's not flashy either.

I think leaving it gloss would be a wiser choice. I'm not a fan of flat either though, so for a person that likes the flat look may like it, but I'd leave it gloss.

I know the 3rd gen Camaros with the bowtie/CAMARO grills were flat or semi-gloss and didnt look bad.

i like the gloss but if a car had some flat black accents i think it might look alright! i think im gonna try it to just see how it looks..
