4 Point harnesses are not DOT compliant or street legal in most states. I had to put stock belts back into my car to drive it on the street.

That double sided tape would last until you put the seatbelts on.. And trying to sew that on would never happen..

that was my thought as well, but i'm not sure on any other options, besides getting your stock seat belt guides to work some how.

You are speaking from what experience exactly? Our customers have successfully used double sided tape which is why I wrote that on the site.

I personally recommend getting them sewed on. Cost me $20 at a local upholstery shop...

The experience of using double sides tape. it's not rocket science. taping two pieces of leather together with double sides tape and then moving around a seatbelt in the middle..

I'm sure there are leather bonding glues however that would work better..

My reference was more to you saying sewing on would never happen... About the double sided though, as long as you haven't got it all oiled/armor all'd up you'd be surprised that it does stay well.

I used it for awhile my self... Again though, I would recommend sewing...

I never thought about leather bonding glues (didn't know there was such a thing) and just dismissed gluing in general since the surface would be porous...
