Default Im soo gla I got LEDs in my Interior Lights

I just upgraded the Glove Box light and the Dome light to LED lights and I love the look. Makes the car feel wayyy more modern.

When I opened the door and I compared those lights to my Map lights, god those are sooo yellow and ugly. Im gonna change them next week though.

I just wanted to share my feelings with everyone. I will guarantee you that the new look of LEDs is something everyone will love.

I did mine over the winter, and it was a lot easier then I thought it would be. For anyone trying to decide if they should do this, stop waiting and do it! Not only will you love it, but the ladies will be impressed too!

I got my interior LEDs from superbrightleds.com, simple plug & play bulbs, fast shipping. The bulbs are more than regular bulbs, but it is so worth it....

Those that have put white LEDs in the car, are they a hindrance to have on while driving at night?

I have a TA and have been contemplating swapping over all the interior bulbs to LEDs, but I haven't decided between red or white bulbs. One (minor) concern that I have is that white LEDs may be too bright while driving at night if my wife is trying to look for something or trying to read a map or what not whereas the red won't significantly affect night vision.

Thanks

I did them in my TA and they are wicked bright

That pic was taken at night. However I have the WLED xHP9, if you want the bright white light with less intensity, just go for less LEDs in there like 3 or even one. But keep in mind (I learned this the hard way, if you have an 01 or 02 TA your mirror light bulbs are wedge bulbs, NOT the other type...)

I personally went with the 9 LED bulbs, they were 13 a bulb. But if youre looking for less intense...

Super Bright LED's. The 2 map lights, 2 rear lights (convertible), the light for the glove box and rear license plate, and 2 lights for the door (light up switches) ran me between $40-$50.

I have yet to install the LED's in the door yet because I've read mixed reviews on here and heard they don't increase light output by much. Keep in mind, if you have a coupe/T-Top, you will only need one light for the rear so it might be a little cheaper.

Yup. The terminals hold the LED bulbs just like the stock lights.
