Default Sparco steering wheel, JFP relocation kit and more! PICS

Well I finally got the Spacro 368 suede steering wheel with quick disconnect in. It took a little bit of work to get the disconnect to fit the wheel but it came together pretty good. I'll get a couple other pics in the sunlight. People that have seen it say it looks like it came from the factory with it. The ONLY thing I did not like doing was I had to cut one wire. In the close up of the disconnect nut you can see a yellow wire that has been snipped. I couldnt figure out how to get the thing to diconnect from the air bag collar that was around the shaft. I made a call to the local dealer to find out what replacement cost was and was willing to eat the 50.00 to replace it later.

Here is the JFP relocation kit. I have had this on the car for a while now but just got pics of it this weekend. It still needs a little bit of re routing the wires to clean up the look but it turned out pretty good IMO.

Here is the next project I am working on. Getting all of the gauges mounted up. I am waiting on a used vent bezel that I can hack up to get everything to work how I want. All of the lines will be run through the ducting then out to the engine compartment or under the car. Alot of people ask why I am putting somany gauges in the car and I have heard a few "rice" statements, but when you are barreling down highway 318 at over 160+mph suspatained, its important to know whats going on in everything! The tach. wont stay in that location because of a roll cage bar that will be blocking my view of it. There are 2 more gauges that I still need to figure out where to put.

Here is the close up pic where you can see the wire I had to cut. Yellow one right at the base of the picture.

i got 2 sugestions for ya. i got 4 2 1/8" guages in my center vents, fit was perfect. also, get rid of the trans temp guage, and wire the temp sender for it on a switch to the water temp guage (if they are electric). the senders are the same part number from autometer, so they will work just fine. i'm kinda building my car up the same as you.

I also chose to go with mechanical gauges instead of electric. I just have more faith in the mechanical rather than electric. I thought about routing the trans to the factory water but didnt like the idea of messing with any of the wiring behind the factory guages
