Default Sun Coast creation LT1 WS6 hood?

Im in the market for a LT1 WS6 hood. Original hoods are hard to come by so I was thinking if i had to go with a WS6 hood other then a OEM hood id go with a suncoast creation hood. However I do have a question about them for anyone that has any experiance with them.

Are they a good fitting hood?

And how close to factory are these hoods? Thanks!

I had one on my 95 T/A. It fit really well and the fit and finish was top notch for the price. This was a suncoast hood on my old 95':

There's a thread in paint and body about problems with the quality of their fiberglass. I had one of their hoods on my 95. The fitment was good for the most part. But I had lots of bubbles throug the years.... mine weren't too bad but the guys over in the thread in paint n body's looks like a pizza faced nerd. As with all fiberglass laid by hand.... it will come down to how well that person did their job that day.

thanks for the replies, i took a gamble and bought a suncoast. I don't like the mixed reviews but it seems about 70/30 in favor for the suncoast. I have the hood already in the body shop getting painted. Ill have an update for how well it fits by the end of next week. Hopefully it turns out well, by the looks of the hood it looks like good quality though.

I had one a looooong time ago on one of my T/A's....that's how I got my user name (). It looked good from a distance but when you got close you could see it didn't fit very well. I'm sure they've gotten better by now.

Just got my hood painted and on the car. I put hood on all by myself which was a PITA!! I tried to adjust the hood some but i wont be able to finish doing it with out the help of a friend so the hood, although it fits pretty good already will fit even better after my buddy and I get done with it. I posted pics here https://ls1tech.com/forums/paint-bod...l#post14881413
