Default which car should i fix up first?

which car should i fix up first?

i wanna start driving another one of my cars so the miles dont rack up on my cobra.

i'm leaning towards the gt, cuz it sounds alot like my cobra and its a stick shift.
the z28 is a automatic and sounds too quiet with the flowmaster.

but out of these 2.. which would u recommend?

97 mustang gt, stock 4.6 engine, 5 speed, offroad h-pipe, flowmaster 40s dumped
mods that i own that can go on it, roush side skirts (side exhaust), svo side skirts (side exhaust), roush wing, roush rear valance,
2" cowl hood.

93 z28, 5.7, bored to .030, automatic, no cats, single flowmaster 80 muffler,
mods that i have on it but can be removed: Wings West ground effects kit, RS-style wing by Freedom Design, 4" cowl hood. also have a stock RS wing and stock hood.

heres the pics. note: the body kit isnt on my z28 anymore but i might put it back on. undecided. (i know alot of ppl dont like them)

from what google says, the z28 has more stock HP. but its a automatic. i wish it was a 6speed.

Z28 285HP > GT mustang 215Hp

Any auto LT1 > Stick Mustang

Chevy > Ford

5.7 > 4.6

low 14sc 1/4 mile > 15sc 1/4 mile

Hey you have a mustang too! < Oh wow you have a Z28!

Edit: I will give the mustang this they sure do sound nice with a h-pipe and 40 flowmasters.

yeah. i'd probably make my z28 stock quiet. i hate how they sound with aftermarket mufflers. rather it be quiet than be embarassed when i'm riding past a mustang with a nice exhaust.

From the looks of it, They BOTH need paint.

Z28 Needs Better sounding exhaust, sn97 needs headlights & mirror fixed.

If the flowmasters on z28 bother you that much, just bolt on a stock muffler.

im gonna say the z28, if you embarassed because some mustangs have nice exhaust, just put some nice exhaust on you z28, i personnally love the way f bodies sound with MOST aftermarket exhaust. but that is just what i would do. whats the fun in having 2 nice mustangs? why not spice it up with a nice f body to

Not to mention the SOHC 4.6 2V motors are gutless and things get expensive past 500hp. Weak engine overall and the heads don't flow very well. OHC heads = $$$$$, PR Heads = $$

Parts are cheaper for the ElTeeJuan and are more rewarding.

Do the LT1. I wanna follow a SICK LT1 build for once.. and lets make it official now, you're going to put a harwood hood on it.

^^ And listen to ZeeS.. throw a Yank converter in there with the rest of your mods, and hold onto your pants.

^already have a 04 cobra so i wouldnt put a cobra drivetrain in it. not really worried about making the cars fast right now. just focusing on exterior.

i'm gonna fix the z28 up first since all it needs is a paint job. my fave camaro color is pewter..so i think i'm gonna go with pewter. or back to the stock red. already removed the ground fx. later on i wanna put a 6speed in it or sell it and buy a 6speed z28. i just put charcoal grey leather seats in it also. its a comfortable car.

the 97 gt mustang has more stuff need done to it so i'll do it 2nd.. ..
finish my power window conversion (already did the drivers door and it got it working perfect).
install my drilled rotors
paint. no dents really and its already sanded. so i just have to primer/paint it.

then i have more projects after those..

87 gt. put my 5-lug axles/spindles off a 95gt i had on it. free to do this since i already have the parts. free rear disc brake conversion

67 mustang - finish my swap. i put a 95gt 306 h.o. efi drivetrain in it. everything mounted down. gotta hook the wiring harness up and computer. either hook up the a/c or get a a/c delete. then i think i need to beef up the suspension. new leaf springs etc. so the 67 is gonna take alot of money so i'll do that last. and it'll be first time hooking up the throttle/brake cable up to pedals. i have alot of learning to do on this project.

the z28 was my old daily driver til i got my cobra. anyways.. i was wanting to make the z28 look something like this below.

pewter paint (my fave camaro color) (would do silver but i already have a silver car)
leave the roof black?
t-top conversion (3rd conversion, already have everything needed)
maybe replace the z28 emblems with satin black 5.7's
lower and rims
true duals
