Default New Grille

Well, I finally got the SLP SS grille painted and installed so I thought I would post up some pics for you guys. Don't mind the bugs either...

I know there are quite a few people that prefer billet grilles. Thanks for being honest though man.

I like both but prefer the SLP and billet for when your wanting to do away with stock but can pick one off eBay for cheap and your on a budget. To finish it off Egott, I would go with a Black Manta to pull the black out a little more in the grille. Other than that, great looking car.

Your SS looks WICKED. I used to have the billet grille on my old Camaro but now I'm trying to get that SS one like yours but all black, will get hopefully by the summer.

Looks really good. You should get some better amber bulbs. Those wheels look great on your car.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Idk if im going to do the manta or not, probably not though.

As far as the bulbs go, what do you mean? Think they look too white? It's just the pictures, they're orange in person. Lol.

don't do the manta. Grille looks wayyy better though. Car is begging for a whistler mod and then it will be perfect

After I got the grille on I thought about the whistler and smoked sidemarkers. I already know I want to black out the 3rd brake light, and rear sidemarkers along with tinting the tails, but not as dark. I was planning on leaving the front clear looking, but now that I have the black on the grille I may try to find a set of whistler headlights. I'm not painting my OEM ones. I'd probably screw something up then I'd have to buy new $300/ea. OEM headlights. Ha. So, if a set comes up on here that's close I may get them. I have to look at things in person before purchasing.

With that said, anyone have a nice set of whistler headlights for sale near northern Indiana? Lol

I did the whistler mod and I liked it my headlights are just sitting in my room right now. There kinda yellow, they need some work its on my to do list haha. If you want you can stop by and we can throw them in so you can get an idea if you like them or not.

You don't like the paint scheme I went with? Thought I'd be different. I had never seen it done and didn't want the grille all black. I thought about all silver.

Looks like your car just got it's braces off and is now smiling proudly.

The new grill looks a heck of a lot better than the old one. Good decision. I'm usually a fan of the Whistler lights, but right now, yours look great. I'd definitely do the Manta though.
Sweet wheels btw, I was real close to getting those.
