Default 6LE 3rd gen overlays

got my overlays today. OMG they look awesome! cant wait to put them on and see how they look.

that looks great. much improved thats for sure. ive always thought about overlays.. how hard is removing needles and getting them back on correctly?

wasnt that hard. i usually do it in the morning when the cars cold. i take a pic of where the needles sit with the key off and then on. then i pull the needles off carefully, pull the old overlays off and put these on. theyre nice cause they have a 3m like backing to them and the same quality material as oem.

Why is that with the stock gauge overlays you do not see any of the warning text; "security" "seat belt" "low oil" whatever....but with the 6LE overlays all the written warnings are clearly visible....

maybe how the pics was taken. in person you cant see them as clearly as in the picture. also the original ones were printed in dark colors where as the 6LE ones are in clear.

That looks killer I would have killed for these back when I had my 90 Iroc and 92 Z28. I always hated the yellow with a passion.

Definitely look allot better! nice. Though what about the mph? since one goes up to 110 and the other 140?

well im doin a 5.3 swap so itll probably be worked out in tuning or something like that. lol not sure at the moment.
