Default 98-02 tail lights to a 95?
Went to put on the tail lights on,bulbs wont fit right. Do i need to chang the tail light harness also or brake the tabs off the housing?

as far as i know there is no difference.. i put 01 tails in my 95 and it was a simple swap, no mod needed

If the bulbs don't fit, try getting a different bulb, unless you mean the bulb won't clip on to the tail light.

bulbs wont clip in right,the notches and the locking pin dont align right.

are you talking about the bulb into the socket, or the socket into the tail light housing? I have heard of a tail light harness upgrade coming from a 98up car. Yours should work fine. Can you post some pics of your problem?

sounds like someone may have replaced the sockets with the ones available at the chain parts stores...they dont quite fit right. Either get a whole new harness or carve out the housing holes slightly

I would look for a new set up. Maybe one from a wrecked car. Just take em, clean em up real good, install and have fun, lol.

i know that sometimes you have to rotate the sockets a little, the look like they will line up but wont, try rotating the socket more, they didnt change them between your year and mine.. but then again, maybe I'm a retard.. lol
