HIDs and Whistler Mod
Anyone ever had a problem with HIDs melting the paint from doing the whistler mod? I never really thought of it to much but HIDs tend to run hotter inside the housing then standard lights so was thinking what if they get hot enough to melt the paint inside the lenses? Anyone ever had this happen? I did the whistler about a month back but since then have hardly driven the car at night and if i had it wasn't a very long drive but never noticed any issues.

Whistler mod is painting the factory chrome headlight housing black on the inside.
It's named whistler because the member here who came up with the idea is Whistler so it was named after him.

Good to know shouldn't be a problem with melting/
Just regular automotive plastic/bumper gloss black by duplicolor from Autozone. I also put primer on first though of course but no clear coat was added on top.
