Sunoco test fit
I was test fitting my hood before I take it for paint. Everything up front and the sides fit great, out back is a different story. Both sides are up about 1/8-1/4 inch. Anyone have any suggestions on this? It looks like the hinges have a metal catch tab, maybe those need to be moved down somehow?
Here's some pics, not the best, there from my phone.

you need to drill out the hood hinge bolt holes to allow for more adjustment and play around with the position of the front latch. You will notice that as you open up the bolt holes you can push the hood further down in the back but that will make the front of the hood come up a bit. Lower the front latch and you can get the hood to go down lower in the front. Mine was taller in the back but not that bad. With a few hours of drilling and adjusting it is near perfect. Also, you mentioned the alignment tabs...those should have no affect, they should just slide into the slots in the engine bay.
