How to get rid of the dots in rear window

Default How to get rid of the dots in rear window

I'm about to get my windows rear tinted and I thought I might get the dots gone to so if anyone has done it please post pics and what I would need?

not sure if anyone has ever removed them completly but most people sand them down befor the tint goes on so it does not bubble.

i imagine if you want them gone just keep sanding away but i would use a very very high grit sand paper as you can scratch the glass very easly.

Just put a piece of black vinyl over them and there gone and I dont have any pics of this but I have it done to my car and its the easiest thing to do

Mask it off and paint with black spray paint. I applied a good coat of adhesion promoter first. Then sand the edge lightly so it's not such a bump and your tint won't have that white line or anything. The vinyl will still allow a white line where the edge is.

do you want the dots gone off the window or just hiding them?

when i got my windows tinted the shop did the vinyl without me asking. I was planing to do it after anyways but they saved me time and it looks great

As posted earlier, paint over them on the inside. Worked great for me:





No lines. No bubbles. No nothin'.
