got bored, dressed up the bird-plate Well i had some free time and nothing to do so i decided to mod my plate cover a bit. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic but it gets the idea across. What do you guys think?

Here's another angle that shows the color more accurately. The vinyl really reflects the light differently given the angle like carbon fiber which is why the first pic looks a bit more silver/pewter.

Looks good 
I did the same on mine years ago and it was a pain in the *** cause I had to trim each piece slightly smaller to get an outlined backlit effect
Topped it off with a good coat of clear and it was good to go until my mom backed into it with her PT Cruiser
