Default detailing products

ok, so since my car is a daily driver it was put through the winter unfortunately so what i'm asking is what are some good products to make my car looking good for the summer, to take out all the swirls, small scratches, i have a scuff that i don't know where or how it got there on my passenger quarter panel, and for some reason the back of my spoiler is dull looking. so help me out here with what products or anything i can do to make her shine.

www.adamspolishes.com - use the code SMALLBLOCK to take 10% off anything you need.

Take a look at the porter cable polishing kits... you're gonna need a machine to remove swirls and scratches and its really easy to learn to use one. If you have absolutely any questions shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to hook you up with whatever info you need.

If your looking for a good store bought product then Mother's or Mequiar's works fine. I tried Adam's products a year or so ago and have ended up with most of what they sell. Yes, it's higher than some others but the results are great. For the price of a detail you could buy a Porter Cable starter kit and never pay a detailer again.

for buffing compounds and polish you should use the meguiars m105/m205 combo. preferable to use this with a FLEX or porter cable 7424

http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-mirror-gl...t-compound.html

http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-finishing-polish.html

top it off with whichever wax products you like. zaino/adams/wolfgang etc.

Agree adams is the way to go,the kit with the porter is well worth it,look at it this way you buy crap you get crap.it sounds like your car has seen better days so a porter is a must, its not that cheap but get a quote at a top notch detailing place,I say top notch because detailing shops 90% of the time are shady, and will tell you more than they will do.

What are you looking to spend? I would get the 105/205 combo. I just buffed my car for 8hrs the other day and the results were freakin awesome. My car has WAY less scratches and its smooth as glass. I also bought some Wolfgang sealant and nattys wax.

ive compared several products all using the same pads/buffer for comparison. i tried adams/zaino/and the 105&205 combo. my best results came from the 105/205 when topped with P21S wax.

proof is in the pics of my details of why i swear by 105/205 to use as my cutting/polishing compounds. but at the end of the day. it boils down to what you like. theres a few half hood done/undone pics in the links below

yessir, everyone of my details i use the PC. if you really want a great shine. find someone giving away a hood they dont need anymore or body panels with decent paint. and practice the art of wetsanding and buffing. there is no better shine when done right.

im using the lake country yellow pad to cut and follow up using their white pad for the 205. then depending what wax im using (per customer request) i use the red pad to apply wax and remove by hand via microfiber towels.

go with this deal
