For sure some wheels would make it look better, but theyre on hold right now... getting stage 2 transmission, b&m cooler, yank 3600, moser 12 bolt, heads and cam... then its time for wheels, suspension and brakes, then audio system... then on to the next project

The raptor hood has shorter nostrils and I believe the cowls are not as wide, or flowing, but yes they're definitely bread from the same bloodline

when i said oem ws6 hood, i meant an actual gm hood, not one from a place like vfn... when i decided to go fiberglass, I wanted to step away from something so oem looking (i dont like clones of anything {ws6 badges on a non ws6 factory trans am} even classics)

Fit was good, took me 3 hours total to take my hood off, and install this one...
the only spot thats tight is near the headlights on the sides (but thats because i didnt want to remove the primer in order to sand it) vfn makes it like with extra material there so you can make adjustments
only other fit problem is the hood latch and release... had to use spacers to get the latch to work, and decided not to use the release until i can maybe bend it or something
VFN Fiberglass in addison illinois... google it, its not on their website, but if you email them asking for the "wsq hood", they'll give you the details

I had to do the same thing with the spacers.. about 1/4 of an inch, i could have gotten away with a little less but it seemed like i had to slam the **** out of it to get it to latch.. hood release is funky too, i didnt install mine either. overall the fit is good, needs some shaving if you ask me, its a little tight on the front edges... nice to have a different hood though..

yeah, i got my hood all straightened out now, fixing my bumper and headlight cover this weekend and then off to paint... got alot to do to fix that bumper though
stone nicks, paint spidering, a crack, scrape marks... alot of work...
then prep the hood, and fix the headlight... going to be busy all weekend
