New wheels, custom nose emblem, and '91/'92 Z28 spoiler on my convertible Z28
I've been pretty busy with upgrades and appearance modifications this winter. In fact today was the first time I have washed the car since October, and this past Thursday was the first time it's been driven since November.
The appearance changes are chrome C5 Z06 wheels with rear Mickey Thompson DR's (previous wheels were chrome ZR1's with street tires), a custom stainless steel nose emblem that I ordered from emblempros.com, and a '91/'92 Z28 spoiler that I modified to fit on my convertible without making any changes to the existing quarter panel caps.
What do you think?

I realize some won't like it, but overall I've had a tremendous amount of positive feedback on it. I have over 200 hrs in it, between cutting and trimming it, to filling in where the 3rd tail light was on the trunk lid, and painting everything. With that being said, it's not going to be coming off anytime soon, if ever. I really like it.

Thanks, I'm in love with the new look. The only thing I'm not 100% thrilled about is the way the 4th gen emblem fits in the 3rd gen bumper. I didn't realize that the 4th gen emblem came to more of a point than a 3rd gen emblem. So I may send my original one to EmblemPros so they can make a template from it and make one with the right dimensions for me.

Since you are a customer I will make you one for free. Then I get to market a new item.
Sounds like a plan to me!
Please let me know. Thanks, Roger

Is it just me, or are the center bars longer than a stock Z28 high rise spoiler, Nick?
The wing looks kinda awkward without the top up, but it's definitely unique man and it doesn't look bad, just kinda awkward since it sits so much higher than stock. I love Z28 spoilers too, but I think they look better on the coupes over the verts. I think with the top up the Z28 spoiler will look at home, and for me it will take some getting used to when I see you posting pics. You and Landon did an awesome job to get it to fit though!

Erik, it looks higher only because the convertible trunk lid has a downward slope towards the rear of the car and it sits lower than the side caps on the quarter panels. I didn't add any height to the spoiler at all. The only modification I did to the center posts was cutting off the back ends because from front to back they were too long and hung off the trunk lid.
