Default Rare optioned camaro

How rare are the options on this car? And I've never seen that hood before. Who makes it?

Idk how rare it is. I know of one other car that has white interior and the guy said his was 1 of 2 but his was a SS NBM but is sponsored by Monster and was having graphics placed on the whole car. I can't think of his name on here. I mean with the pics and the details about it, it seems legit though.

Vince told me to check this topic.

Thanks to compnine not allowing custom RPO code calculations anymore, I can't tell you the exact number, but I found a car similar to this one in 2009 and made a topic about it on Camaroz28
http://www.camaroz28.com/forums/show...ather+brangeta

1 of 1060 Bright Blue coupes (base model and Z28 combined)
1 of 778 Camaros for '99 with white leather
1 of 12589 '99 Camaros with chrome wheels

And I estimated it was one of only 100 to 300 Z28s in this color, then when you combine that with how rare white leather is, it's probably one of around 5 to 20.

Somebody should email or call the seller and see if they can get the VIN #

Is it just a z28? It has an ss hood with an rs body kit. Kinda confusing.

Z28s were available with Sport Appearance Package '98-'02 in almost every color. Bright Blue Metallic was one of the colors it was available on. If this car has RPO code Y3F it came with it when new.

The aftermarket hood with '96-97 SS style scoop is strange. No SSes were made in this color, so it'd be neat to see a replica, but not with the wrong hood and the SAP.

Wouldn't that make it even rarer with the rs bodykit if it's factory?

Suppose so, but it depends on whether or not you actually like the SAP.

That hood is aftermarket unless he/she bought an OEM one, which would be a lot nicer to own as aftermarket body parts have horrible fitment issues. I would ask for the VIN likes others stated or get some close up pics to really see the cars condition; those shots are pretty blurry.
The white leather makes the car a lot more rare esp with the light blue exterior color but again, since the stock hood was replaced, the interior could have been as well so you dont even know if the car came like that or if it was added; again the vin will help you out there. Looks like you have some hw to do if you want to find out the truth behind it and if it is indeed a rare find. Good luck

at the woman driver/pristine condition comment above..

The hood has a 1996-1997 SS scoop on it so it's in no way, shape, or form a factory hood.

My FAVORTIE color of 4th gens.. SUPER RARE and with the White Leather and the Y3F "RS" kit that must be close to a one off that you can have!

I REALLY LIKE THAT ONE! Just change the rims and you have an amazing one off Camaro!!

Hugger Orange is the best color!!! If i was to go with any other color it would have to be Bright Blue or Sun Orange Metallic. My Car is in that 778 group of 99's with the white interior and it also has the Y3F SAP,M6 and ofcourse its Hugger Orange. Super Rare!!

1998 and 1999 Was a odd year for colors on Camaros and Firebirds. At no time were there an SS produced with that color, nor a WS6. That was a add on hood and body kit.

GM needed at least 2% or more of cars that year with that color to be made or they would discontinue the color. They did with Bright Green Met, Maple Maroon, Bight Purple Met (father to the NBM), Aztec Gold and so on and so forth.
