Top of dash has holes, do i need to swap out? previous owner had a gps mount on top of the dash above the radio, and i stupidly pulled it off, taking some dash withit. now, theres a palm sized spot on the dash where i see foam. do i need to swap out the dash to fix it? i want it fixed, and want it to look like it never happeened

Some pictures might help, I personally don't know what route you could go without seeing how bad it is. I better way would have been to take some tooth floss or fishing line and pull it under the mount to separate the adhesive.
