I was playing around with photoshop on an old pic. I want to do a little to the exterior of my car...just so it is a bit different than the average (There are 3 or 4 pewter non-SS camaros in my town). Here is what I came up with.



I already have the LE wheels, no more windshield banner, front windows are tinted 15%, SLP SS grill and no blackouts up front.

Im just looking for opinions. If you like it, dont like it, like the idea, dont like the black. I was thinking of a dark charcole grey, more in line with the color in the "SS" emblem.

Also was thinkging about smoked or clear front side markers.

I'm not a fan of GS stripes but it looks pretty raw on that SS, just don't black out the headlights, leave them original or whistler mod.

i would do hockey stripe, or maybe put the gs stripes on the other side to be different. im not a fan of putting stuff from other cars onto other cars. but to each is his own. do what you like.

A member on here (LS1Vince) has a pewter SS with hockey stripes that look real good, recommend that over GS stripes imo.

Must be something about pewter Camaros. I thought about doing the same thing but can't decide. I prefer the GS stripes over the hockey thing.

GS works if done right and tastefully. I do like them. They should compliment and accent the car.

Meh.

I'm not a fan of GS stripes, I think they're pointless on anything other than a Vette, and even then they're only so-so IMO.

And WTF is up with Dodge using them now? People are going to start asking you if your car has a Hemi now.

If Dodge can use GS stripes, maybe you ought to throw some 'cuda style strobe stripes on your SS. HAHA!
