Default Question for somebody with plenty of fiberglass experiance.

I'm currently running no front bumper suport and of course the bumper cover is pretty flimsy. The paint is already starting to spider web in the lower corners from the the bumper cover flexing at speed. I would like to sand down the inside of the bumper cover with 80 grit and then lay down some carbon fiber or fiberglass in the weak areas to help strengthen the polyurathane. My question is, how will the resin affect the polyurathane? The bumper cover is pretty thin and I'm affraid that when the resin starts to cure and bond to the poly it will soften it and warp the bumper cover alittle. Any thoughts?
