Man, I tried this one earlier. Found them on ebay. Company named Fire and Ice. First it was a complete bezel overlay. Only complaint with it was it was wider than the bezel which made the needle tips disappear when you turned the car off. The BIG problem with the whole idea is trying to get the clear lens separated from the bezel in order to attach. Once I went through this nightmare (going to far to turn back really) when I was done I liked it for all of two weeks. Bought a new bezel/lens and threw my contraption in the trash. I recommend not doing and overlay but have Pauls Chrome plate the bezel for you. You can find him on the internet doing a search. Be sure to let us know what you do.

I'd love to have just the chrome rings as well. Someone's gotta be able to do it.
