Default Ebay Hood4sale Cowl hood VS VFN

here's the link to the ebay hood: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Fiberglass-3-inch-AERO-cowl-Bolt-on-Camaro-Hood-98-02-/270825737210?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories &hash=item3f0e78cbfa#ht_511wt_1165

I have heard the finish is actually good on them, I am just trying to get an actual comparison against the same hood from VFN, the "sunoco" style , with no center line. Need to order this ASAP. Thanks guys

Hit or miss with those hoods. Some fit good, some don't. If they don't, in the end, you'll be paying the price of a VFN hood. Looks like the seller has awful feedback on hoods though and they sell cheap items VERY often to make their score look better.

I just looked through a few hundred of their feedbacks... I think I may just buy from VFN. They seem VERY hit or miss, and unwilling to replace defective items...

you will not be sorry going with vfn,fit and finish is near next to none right out of the box, i had 3 body guys tell me that it was the best fiberglass hood they have ever seen, the other hood could just be issues and the money you will save will likely cost you twice as much when it comes down to paint n body work, dont you have a ultra z hood now though ,

Ouch! I vote Sunoco WITH the line. I just like the crisp crease. Also, I would question the quality of a $200 hood. I think your body shop might shoot you in the face when you ask them to install it. haha

Get with VFNTech her name is Jeanie. They are most likely doing a GP right now or will be soon. I got the WSQ and its initial fit was excellent.. ALL hoods will need fitting/shaving.. Thats just the way it is... but you will have far less with VFN....

Like some have said, the eBay hood can be hit or miss. My cousin got a hood from hood4sale and it didn't fit at all. The guy admitted that it was molded wrong and told him to send it back for a full refund. My cousin sent it back and never heard back from the guy.

He probably didn't, those hoods need a ton of work to get them to fit right.
