I am thinking about trading my interior for a set from a 2000 WS6. The owner of the car says his seats came like that from the dealer. Only his fronts have the red/black combo. The rears and door panels are ebony. Any help? I like his leather since it breaks up the read a bit but Im just curious if he is telling the truth about the seats being factory. here is mine. They are from a 96 model and I recovered them with solid red:

hes BSing you, no trans ams came with the 2 tone colors unless it was a special dealer edition. i would do it if you wanted them but dont let the main reason be because he said it came like that... it does look badass though

i like the 2 tone as well. and i doubt they came like that from the factory, but if they did why wouldnt they do the rears?

the only thing i dont like about yours are the headrests. his 2 tone looks nice but yours still has that 100% factory look to them

I always liked the bigger head rests.. thats why I got this set. Its not important if his are factory or not, not really. I just dont want to do business with someone who tries to bullshit me. If he said, "I dont know, I got it like this".. then I would be fine with it. I would still be on the fence about trading mine though, I really like my red Im just more curious than anything about the two tone setup... I will be keeping my door panels though.

If your seats are the ones in the 1st pic you posted, I would keep them and be weary of the seller since he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about since he's saying there original and not aftermarket.

^ I dont know the exact color of his but I know my red is and awesome match for my car. I think Im going to end up keeping mine. He says his is from a low mile 2000 but by the looks of it, its got some wear.

Did he say dealer or factory? It might have been a dealer add on, so he might be telling the truth.

IMO keep what you have, looks 10x better.

He said he bought the car new, it came that way when he bought it.. from the pics, they look nice but there are no preforations in the leather from what I can tell...
