Default firebird interior in a camaro?

I have a 2000 camaro that I'm thinking about changing the tan interior to black. I found a totaled 2000 firebird for very cheap. I read on here the dash and door panels and seats will fit but what about all the plastic? Carpet? Headliner? Has anyone done this before?

Any input would be greatlly apreciated!

Ps.... I've done searches

Yup, but its the other way around a Firebird/TransAM is a Camaro with different looks.

But yeah it's all the same, actually the center console is the same in both cars just the style seats/dash/door panels are designed different but interchangeable plenty on here have put Firebird stuff in Camaros because it looks better which I agree except the dash I prefer the Camaro dash.

actually the door panels are different mount points. everything else is the same. You will not have the mounts for the big three screws, only one of them fits if I recall. You need to tap the holes for two of them.

the clip in around the perimeter are all the same.

i know the best way to find out is to take a peak inside the TA. but i havent had time to look at it in detail yet.

so you think all the plastic in the back seat and in the hatch is all the same? for the price i may just buy the car to gut the interior. how about t tops?

it's all identical aside from the screws for the door panel. take the whole interior.

Pulling the interior door panel is one of the easiest parts of the whole job. It comes off in less than 5 min.

agree, take that little triangle off from the mirror. take the screws out, take the bezel around the door off, then push in and lift up. 5 min.

You have to make new holes for the door panel to fit... And are the camaro and t/a rear and backseat plastics not the same?

You can keep your dash if you want to, it should already be ebony so it'll match. That's the biggest pain to swap out
