2000 Camaro SS frontend??

2000 Camaro SS frontend?? Did they come with the center piece of the frontend having "SS" on it or "Camaro" or both? Im looking at a real nice "SS" but it has the "Camaro" lettering on the center frontend Vs. the "SS" and it seems a little suspicous..

I think you're picturing the "SS" grille that was an option for the car...
All the bumpers (OEM) are like this behind the license plate bracket...
Most cars come with this on it...
Here is one of the optional SLP grilles...
and the one I think you're picturing...

The SS grille was an option, but few ponied up the cash to buy it. Don't be alarmed if a car you're looking at doesn't have it. If you want to see if it came optioned with it, check the drivers inside door for the SLP build options.
