Whats the best way to remove medium deep scratches? the scratch removers seem to work ok on the light ones, but once I got keyed and it looked bad and the body man used I think a rubbing compound and got to the "bottom layer of the clear coat" he said, I thought he ruined the car, then he put something on the mark, used a buffer and re shined it and you can hardly see the mark...this is what I am talking about except for a non-pro, what's the best way without a chance to screw it up?
