Default LT dash swap for LS dash how difficult

Ok guys i'm looking into soon here picking up an LT roller that i plan on putting in an LS1or built truck 6.0 for boost or juice and the one thing i HATE about the LT cars is the dash and console. I had a '96 Z28 and that was the one thing i hated. What would it take to swap or how difficult to swap. I'm mostly worried about the wiring differences. ~Cole~

You mean LT to LT dash swap . The 97-02 dash was introduced in 1997 . The LS1
interior is actually an LT1 interior Sorry rant off . That **** just irritates me . Anyways
to your question depending on your mechanical abilties it can be a nightmare to
pretty damn difficult . Either way its a bitch to do .

If you rip out the air ducts it will be a lot easier. Do the mounting holes line up at all? If not, I'd go at it with self tapping screws.

yeah i know the interior was refreshed in '97 but my point was made that way because more people would likely know the version specifically by model years they have. Such as most people that have a 98+ know what interior i'm talking about. If i could find a nice '97 roller that'd be perfect. I assume it mostly is a problem with the ducting and wiring.

I like the 93-96 dashes better , but thats just me. I like how it kind of points toward the driver.
