Default Want to clean up my coilpack wiring.

I want to get rid of that god awful metallic heat tape on the coil pack wires. What is something good to redo it with?

Anyone got pics?

If you can get it on, some type of heat shrink tubing?

Maybe wrap over it with a black tape that is resistant to heat?

.......Relocate coils!

See my friend told me to heat shrink them to clean it up but told him there is no way to get it on there.

And so far the only heat reflective tape I can find is the same mirror/silver stuff. All the other woven type heat resistant material is of the tube variety.

Check this stuff out, going to order some tommorow and see how i tidy up my wires. Might try doing my fuel injector wires too so I can get rid of the bulky wire loom.

I would relocate my coilds but I've never seen any that I liked, I think painted coil-packs are naughty looking.

I would tell you my idea for my coil packs for my new relocated spot (had them under the cowl) but I believe I will be the first to do it so don't want to ruin that.

I would try the racer tape you posted up that is black and see how that does.

Smart idea to put it under the bracket. I'll try and dig up some good pictures for you.

I like it too, now I'm thinking paint the valve covers black and the brackets black.

I'm going to mount them to the engine tomorrow and check them out first.
