I still need to figure out a good place for the grounds and I need to find a good polished/chrome screw or something to fill in the holes

Looks good I did that mod during the last big storms (big storm in california = it rained a bit), wont drive the car in the rain--got to do something to it

Did you cut the wires or just unplug them and do this?

If you didnt cut them can you post a big pic of where you drilled the hole?

Since my car is motorless right now would be the time to do this!
