Tail Light concepts 98-02 Firebird Trans Am
I was messing around this morning on Microsoft paint (horrible program for trying to edit pictures) and did some tail light concepts I thought could look neat. I just took a picture I found online cause I was too lazy to take a picture of my own car and this guys tail lights were blacked out which made this easier.
After doing them they looked a little more mustang than I would like. But I am not crazy about the stock ones and I have heard several people say they love the look of my car except for the way the rear end/tail lights are. So just throwing these out there. Maybe it will get someone thinking who has real artistic talent and come up with something better.

Thanks! ... yeah i didnt think it would look as much like a mustang as it does before I did it. Maybe more sections could be added that are tighter together? Not sure if that would help or not

I was in the process of making the clear honeycomb lenses but ran into two problems. My oven isn't big enough to fit a taillight in to get the lens off nor to heat the piece of lexan to form a new one and the local decal shop is giving me a run around about making the honeycomb pattern so I can paint the inside of the lens.
To the OP, our taillights only have 3 sections, not 4. You would need to make a whole new reflector/back piece and somehow chrome the inside to be reflective. Try a few 3 section designs if it's something you seriously want to try.

Don't waste your time on the clear honeycombs they would have to be completely remade. That pic was a photoshop, the 98-02 tails were fused together, meaning the red reflector and honeycomb is all one piece. You cant take them apart and remove it like in the 97 and earlier taillights. I have tried it myself with an old broken light to see if it was even possible... Nope.
