Finally found my hood!
I've been looking for an OEM LT1 WS6 hood/airbox for over 6 years and always seem to miss out! I found one locally and in my color for sale with airbox and I got the wheels too off a 97 WS6. I plan on doing CCW 505a's or widen the WS6 wheels and run spacers, not sure yet.
Here it is after a quick bath, need to detail it
and next to her sister,

Looks absolutely fantastic. A set of widened WS6 wheels would be really classy on it, but then again the 505's would look great too... Love the interior as well, it's one of the nicest T/A verts I've seen.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Ya..the hoods are becoming impossible to find. I have an extra air box I have to sell now since I have had one for awhile but no hood. This one came with both lol. The wheels are up in the air. I think this car would look absoutely amazing with 18 or 19 505a's. I would think the widen wheels would look great too, and a lot less common. After these mods and the corsa exhaust it has only a few things left and it will be the way I want it. The white top has seen better days but thats next after wheels.

Thanks guy! White tops are a pain but worth it. This one is toast, but it is the original. The sun and stains destroy them. I've had the car since 99-00 and was daily'd for a couple years and is now strictly a garage queen and will never sell it. I plan on new top (and now know better maintenance on them) and fixing the driver seat which has a small tear in the bolster. The opti doesn't bother me too much, I had to replace it once. Did a pull one day and boom, lol. My girl and I have 4 fbodies together and we both prefer to drive the LT1 over the LS1, lol. To us they sound and feel better when street driving.
