Interior done, Now the appearance
Now that the interior is done..............
Next is paint. I am down to three colors. Which one would you choose if it was your car? BTW this will be "show and go" so the paint will be show quality. Wheels finish will be polished/silver/machined with accent colors of the body, I decided not to use the Y2K wheels I have. I plan to go with TSW Nurburgring wheels, but depending on finish quality of the car when it is near done I might step up to HRE. Included is a pick of the interior colors.
Here are the choices......GM Cyber Gray, PPG Orange glow, and BMW Sapphire black.
Which one?

I really like the orange, or it could just be the car its painted on

Thx for the compliment on the interior, it was very simple and only took about 10hrs total (over 4 days).
So far...... 3 for orange, 2 for gray, 2 for black. It's a hard one, they all can look great. Here is the orange on a different car....That cobra is awesome and might be throwing off the vote.

I personally think the grey would look better on the Camaro, but the orange would be nice, I just think grey. I think there is someone on this forum with a dodge viper grey or something like that. I always thought that a grey would be really nice on a Camaro. But then again, I really like the color grey in cars.

Here is the car as it is now. Paint looks ok, but the closer you get, the worse it looks. How desirable is this color, not having to paint the door jams, hatch and under the hood is appealing to me. I am not sure if the color is dated or not. Either way, there will be new paint. What do you think of the current color or would it be better one of the other colors? BTW, the wheels are 20" left over from another project (I know there is no love for 4th gens with 20"s). I think once the car is lowered an 1" or so they will look much better. They are fairly light infact only 3lbs more than my stock C6 oem wheels (and these have 305 tires). I didn't like them when I first put them on but they are growing on me.
Suggestions??

In my opinion, It's a VERY desirable color. There were only 8,000 cars painted medium quasar blue metallic in the 2-3 years it was an option. I owned a V6 version from 2000 until it was totaled in 2009.

While I love the orange, especially on that car, I have to say I dont think it goes with your interior. An interior like that seems like it should have a black or red paint scheme. The cyber grey is a toss up, but Ive gotta go with your sapphire black option.
