Default Carbon Fiber Targa and Sail Panel installed...

A customer of ours, Jerry Banks, bought these from us and we told him to drive on down and we (me, Gil and Christian) would help him install.

We got the targa 90% last Friday night (takes a bit of trial and error getting the t-top brackets just right) and then he went back, glued it on (targa comes with bolts for t-top brackets BUT we recommend once it is where you want it you also glue them on with the same glue we recommend for the sail panel) and he also added a couple latches to the front and the back since he sees triple digits a lot... Looks awesome!

Professional pics and write-up coming soon. Right now this is all I have so no need to ask for more pics, lol...

Maan, looks like it fits really good.
Good work as usual.
Makes me curious to see what a full carbon hardtop would look like on my car....

It takes finesse. People try to install and think it doesn't fit right sometimes but, not trying to sound mean, it is their install that is wrong.

If you take your tops off, lay our piece on, it fits perfect.

THEN, people start attaching to brackets and it appears to stick up or not fit right but it is just because the brackets push it up if not installed right.

You even have to play with the factory shims, etc... Put it this way, if from the factory GM had to have a human being playing with different shims to get the t-tops right on each car it will take some intelligence to adjust everything to get this top perfect.

Not hard though, once we had it on the brackets I think it was only 30 min to an hour of adjustments to get it perfect.

Very nice.

I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber, so I would get the fiberglass and paint it, but the quality and fit looks pretty good there.

How about some pictures of the underside or from within the car? Has anyone actually chopped the center bar out to actually utilize this product?

Very nice. I just love my t-tops way too much to get rid of em. I think the CF would look killer on SOM, black, or white. Great job 6LE!
