Default trade SS hood for sunoco hood?

i have a black functional ss hood i got out of a junkyard i asked a guy with a pewter sunoco hood if he would trade since hes selling it. think its worth the trade? my car is nbm by the way so either way ill have a mismatched hood for a while.

Depends the condition of each hood, also personal preference seeing as both hoods are roughly about the same price

MAKE SURE it is a VFN hood and not the ebay knock off. VFN is a black gel coat (maybe the underside is unpainted?) and ebay is white. Ebay is not worth it...

^^Painted or not it would say VFN on the underside, was part of their mold. Towards the back... I doubt it is VFN if it doesn't fit. "Curing" is BS...

agree make sure its a vfn, anything else is going to be crap, and reallythink about it, imo the ss hood looks the best, i sold mine to get my3 nch ss hood and i have regreted it ever since, i did it because i knew i would need the clearance down the road but i wish i would have kept it and did something else, the sunoco is nice but the oem ss hood is the best hood for these cars

Here's how it sat on his car. He didn't adjust it perfect just put it on.

And the hood itself

Id trade my ss for a sunoco. I'd make sure I wouldn't have to spend money on painting it though

Looks just like my Ebay hood that someone spent a lot of time sanding on. No VFN logo on the bottom and the edges are pretty rough. Anyways good trade though since someone already did all the hard work on it.

Play around with it and it will sit perfect, mine does.

it wasnt oem. the bottom side was all fiberglass showing and no numbers anywhere on it only a sticker by the latch that said RDOT
