has anyone had or heard of the quality of the mecham hoods here lately? they look sooooo good imo but so many horror stories not sure if i would want to venture out there.

just bought mine a few months ago. its a real fragile piece but fitment is great and i love it. its such a unique hood.

PM green manalishi , he put one on about a month ago... he had a pretty good review of it... apparently the fitment issues are a thing of the past...

I talked to the owner of Mecham about the issues they had in the passed. It looks like they fixed everything. I got my hood from them back in the day when it wasn't so good

The owner is willing to cut me a pretty big break on another hood when I'm ready but I kinda got my eye on a sunoco style hood now.

I love the looks of the hood, I think if I ever get rid of my raptor hood this will be the only other choice.

I got one back in the day and I couldn't find anyone that wanted to paint it because they said that it would be to much prep work and not worth it. I talked to them and they shipped me a new one and I shipped the previous back but the fitment wasn't great. But I do love the look of the hood.
