I want to go 50% on my windshield. Enough to keep some rays out, not enough to get noticed during inspection.

I guess y'all aren't in states that requires registration and inspection stickers to be displayed on the windshield.

For those who have tinted the windshield, and have to display DOT info...how do y'all do it/get around it?

Really Really curious...thanks

I've got 5% sides and rear with a 35% front. At 35%, it really blends well with the rest of the windows because the angle of the front windshield makes it appear as if it were a darker tint.

I plan on getting 70% on the front. With 20 on the sides and 5 on the back.
With the ebony interior and darker tint already, the windshield with no tint already looks tinted/darker. So the 70 will keep heat out but not effect visibility. Should be done by next week. Will post pics.

Since I live in the city, visibility at night is not an issue because the streets are all lit up. However, if I travel to the suburbs, visibility is reduced. Not impossible but harder obviously.

Oh.. ok. One Last question.. Is This a One-Piece tint in front..? The guy that did my back window a few yrs. ago did a two-piece (splice).. I guess he didnt have tall-enough-roll to do a one pice.

At first, I had jus' the sides and rear done. The guy used only one piece for the rear. I went to another guy to do the front and it was done using one piece as well. You should ask beforehand. It can be done. I took apart the dash pad, pillars and mirror to make it easier for them and because I didn't want them breaking my dash pad by resting their weight on it.

I'm planning on doing this as well. I made a post before and a bunch of people said to do a 5% strip at the top, and 35-50% on the rest, that with the strip, it'll make it look less noticeable to any cops passing by.

Any Pics..? Would really want to see a 20% up front.. with the rest of the 5%

Batmobile's 35% on front looks SuperNice..!!

BUT FOR SURE.. I WOULD NOT GO ANY DARKER THAN 35%..

Would love to see your 20% up front to see if theirs a big differnce..

Like i said.. Just wanna go for that EVEN straight look all arround the top section of the car.. I have done that front top strip and it really helps and looks good too.. But am going different this time.

Thanks for eveyones replies.

A friend of mine cut the tint around the stickers, and honestly it looks like ****. I'm not sure how dark his tint is, but you can't see in on a sunny day.
