Very sad day yesterday..... I don't even kno where to post this so i chose here....
so on the 24th i was t-boned in my 2004 4runner sr5...after being told it wasn't gonna be totaled..they found a ton more damage after getting the stuck passenger door off....got the call on thursday that they totaled my 4runner..they gave me $13,245 for it..so i had to make the worst decision of my life....i found my self a 2006 4runner limited and to be able to afford it i had to trade in my SS....i couldn't just keep the camaro...im happy as a pig in **** about my truck but inside sooo upset...i wouldn't have been able to afford the insurance on just the camaro and to have only the camaro wasn't practical......

sorry for your loss ....
I can understand if your dd was a pick up truck or a van for work and you needed exact replacement.
But was there was no option to downgrade from a toyota 4 runner to a rav4?
Those go for $9k easily from same model year as 4runner and could have used the 4k on the ss.

That wicked sucks dude. Hopefully you can get yourself another Camaro someday. I know what it's like. I just got the insurance bill for the truck and Camaro for over $1,334. It's tough, especially in this shitty economy.

never trade in a car, this time of year those cars sell so easy, i have had mine out this week and have been asked 5 times this week to sell, you had to do what you had to , you will regret it/ and im sureyou could have sold the ss for more , as long as your happy, i bet you will be bummed to drive by the dealer and see 9 to 11 grand on the window lol

I want to keep my old zee in the family! Yea man try and get another SS so you don't kick your self in the rear later on down the road like Bob said.

So you were able to afford insurance on the 04' 4Runner and the camaro but you can't afford the insurance on the camaro by itself? Either way it sucks to be you..
