Did mine in like 20 minutes. Just masked the suspension and wheel well off, scuffed the caliper with some 320ish grit, and sprayed.

save it for the weekend if you're waiting till you're home from work someday. it took me probably 5 hours, but i cleaned my calipers really well. most of it was prep work. i also used the brush on paint. this is after a full year of them being painted, and it's also my daily driver. take your time and do it right. you'll thank yourself later.

I would wait till the weekend... Cleaning is the most important part of the process IMO.

I would also recommend removing ans spraying if possible. I have painted a set with a brush set, and found the paint realy gloppy and hard to use... the spray is simple and gives a MUCH better finish.

Did you paint your's without removing the caliper? Is that possible.

Yes, it's possible. He used a paint brush so that's a lot easier to work with oppose to spray paint and polishing.

As is the case with any paint job, its like 80% prep time and 20% application. Wait till the weekend, dont try to rush it. The smoother/cleaner you get your calipers, the happier you will be with the results. If you're spraying I recommend taking the caliper off (only 2 bolts), that way you can spray every surface evenly. Although yes technically you wont really see the inward facing side of the caliper. If you do take them off, just make sure to hang them with wire or something, so that they are not hanging by the brake line

i did remove the calipers to paint, so the entire piece is painted, not just what you can see. the brackets were also sprayed, so i obviously removed them as well.
