Default Need to figure out a part number

Ok, I am new to the forum. Just recently purchased a 2001 Z28. Someone had installed Nitrous in it and it was removed prior to it being sold to me. He placed the control switch in place of the little storage slot next to the left of the cigarette lighter. Right now it is crudely covered up with a piece of plastic. I would like to know what the part number or name of the plastic slot next to the cigarette lighter is. Any help is appreciated.

I think you are looking for part #13 in the diagram. It is listed as: Compartment, F/FLR CNSL Housing FP87 #10411278. With convertibles that space is used for the switch.

Yeah you would need item #13, unless your car is equipped with traction control, in that case you would need item #12.

I might have an extra plate and cuby hole piece laying in my shop, I can check for you when I get home from work.

The traction control switch on my Camaro is up above the radio next to the fog-light switch.
