Default passenger vent removal how to??

i did some research on here and just through google and the only thing ive found is that the dash needs to be removed?
the piece on my passenger vent is broken so i was going to put a new one in and i was not sure whether the vent could just be popped out or if the whole dash needs to be pulled to get to it. Please let me know thanks!!! i know im a brownie ha ill do a newbie thread soon enough just dont have time right now.
Im talking about the far vent facing the passenger closest to the door.

haha its all good ill give it a shot and see if its similar with the tabs. hopefully someone else will chime in since they are square and sit over the dash as oppsed to inset into it where getting a flathead in would be easier.
