Question What product(s) to clean stained exhaust tips?

Picked up a used Corsa axle-back & the insides of the tips are too dirty for me. I want to clean them & get them like new again. I tried my usual simple green & degreaser that will eat paint if not careful & neither cleaned it well enough.

I don't want to use steel wool this time since these tips are chrome.

Any other products/methods that may work for me?

Steel Wool, NevrDull and Mothers polish work wonders.

But seriously, steel wool is all that is really needed.

Fine steel wool (0000, etc) will not scratch the chrome. Easiest way to get them clean. A coat of wax afterwards will help to keep them cleaner.

Been using Never Dull for years, but it didn't cut it this time.

I don't have a clue what it's called but I found some grill cleaner below our sink at home and sprayed it inside my Corsa Clones and the built up soot just poured out of the tip without even wiping them.
