Default Best Tire Shine

What is everyone's favorite tire shine? What gives the best wet look?

I use Meguiars Endurance tire gel on mines. When I put it on there, I can drive it through the rain and the tires will still have a good bit of shine left to them, doesn't sling much either.

If you want a good shine that is good for your tires and won't sling, 3 coats of Zaino Z16. Almost all OTC tire shine products contain a large amount of silicone which is where you get your shine. Its not good for the rubber over time. And IMO, SUPER shiny tires make the car look "cheap", gives it that "used car lot" look to it.

I always select water-based dressings, not silicone.

This. I use Adams Super VRT. Water based so you get a clean look, not oily. And even better, it's made in the U.S.A.

I've used Zaino in the past though, and you can not go wrong with their Z16 either.

Meg's Hyper Dressing Mixed 1 to 1 ratio. It does have insane shine and looks great. Will wear over time or exposed to the element but some cars that are always garaged still have a very clean finish months after using. All depends on how the car i used.

This is not OTC but something worth investing in.

Check out infinity Shield, water based clear coating. Tire looks wet doesnt fling off, lasts for months!!! I used everything on here mentioned and I will never go back! Tire has to be completly clean with no silicone on it at all when appling but the results are amazing. I stand behind it 100% just try it once and you will never go back if you like the shiny black look!

Another Zaino user here. I started out with their tire shine and leather cleaner, and conditioner. Now I use all of their products.

I like the meg's high endurance, and the grape smell is amazing. I just ordered some PERL, we'll see how it compares. I've heard nothing but good things about it, and it's supposed to last months, not days.

You will love it.

I use the hockey puck applicators and I usually only do one coat. Usually lasts a good while and no sling and non greasy.

I can't wait to try it. Do you dilute it or not for tires?

I use the mothers back to black, not the tire dressing though the plastic trim restorer. Gives tires a nice clean deep black look and last a good amount of time.

I use to use hot shine from mguiers really wet look but hurts the rubber because of silicone. I like the matte look and use adams svrt it looks great and last long and helps protect the rubber and wont fling.
