Default Finally HID'd my car!

Ordered some xentech hid kits with h7's for the lows and 880's for the fogs and put in some blazer projectors for my fogs. Both lights are 8000k. I can't believe how awesome these look.

Why not make everyone not hate you and put a projector setup in the lows? 100$ more to do it the correct way, sign me up.

Waiting for the money to get the projectors for the lows. Don't really drive the car at night anyway so I'm not to worried about other people being blinded.

Those fogs are useless with 8000k. You need at the most 3000k. I'd like to see some close ups of the fogs though and how you mounted them.

For mounting the fogs I used the factory bracket and just bent it in to fit the width if the projector and clamped it in there. There is noway it can jiggle around.

I finally got mine all installed. A month and a half later, I had a ballast and two bulbs go out.

Returned them all and received replacements. I went ahead and bought extras in the event it happens again I don't have to wait.

I have some 6k HIDS installed in both my low beams and fogs, and have never had an issue with blinding people. Im not running stock style housings and also spend a good hour re-aligning the beams so the light was directed properly. I think this is were most people drop the ball, they dont readjust their lights after the install.

I agree... If you don't spend the time after the install readjusting your new found light to point the vast majority of it on the ground, you will blind everyone.

With my halogen housings I had to point them so far down so I didn't get flashed it waste 50+% of the light output. One plus about HIDs over Halogen is the distance.

If you are using a factory fog light housing you should be able to get a 880 bulb for them.

Looks sweet! I'm looking to do the same. So its h7s for the lows and 880s for the fogs? I have an 02 Formula. Thanks.

That's because Toyota headlights suck and throw light all over the place, except for where you want it. Tacomas are the worst.
